Amalgamation of Stradform Limited and Weaver PLC

Following the recent acquisition of the Stradform group of companies by Norwest Holst, the Coleshill based construction company, Stradform Midlands Limited, has been integrated into Bromsgrove based building contractor, Weaver PLC.

Norwest Holst Limited (part of VINCI PLC) bought Weaver in June 2007. This development further expands the Company’s presence in the Midlands and enables it to better service customers throughout the region.

VINCI PLC’s long term strategy is to develop a network of well established regional contractors throughout England and Wales. Acquiring a regional presence in this way, rather than moving in as a national company to compete with existing local contractors, will make the most of existing regional knowledge and relationships.

At the same time, being part of a larger group will bring many benefits to both customers and employees, not least of which is increased financial strength, the ability to undertake larger projects and the availability of greater career development opportunities for employees.
